I think they should just leave it at 65 because if 128 teams could make it then, making the tournament wouldn't be as special. But it could give more smaller teams a chance.
should they expand from 65? stay where they are? or reduce the amount of teams put in?
one proposal is to allow 128 teams into the tourney creating another round...then another proposal is to add 3 more play-in games

You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.
128 teams is a bit too much. Might as well let all D1 schools go ahead and be eligible for the tourney.
i think they should make it 64 again. The 65th team rule is stupid "Congratualtions you just busted your [censored] just to win your confernece turney now you have to beat this team to play a one seed"
Reeking of awesomeness!
there's over 300 D1 teams, 128 is about 40%
i say take it to 80 teams...there are just above 20 mid-major conferences, if you make the champions of the conferences who only get one bid all compete in play-in games, then it frees up 16 spots for at-large teams...makes the tournament better across the board
for example, all the #1 and #2 seeds would play winners of play-in games...meaning for a lot more upsets of #1 and #2 seeds from better competition as well as better games for the seeds in the middle of the bracket
